cash

Recommended Posts

The easiest and cheapest way is to go to the casino and get cash on your seapass. This way you avoid the ATM fees, and it is simply put on the credit/debit card you surrendered at the start of the cruise. It is not charged as a cash advance on your CC and if you pay it off in 30 days, no interest. :)

You can cash travelers checks at the pursers desk or you can go to the casino and get a cash advance on your Seapass account. If you are paying your Seapass with a credit card the cash advance from the casino will go on your card as a purchase and not as a cash advance.

Not only is the casino a great way to exchange traveler's checks for cash, you won't be likely to hit the lines that you run into at the purser's desk. The purser's desk is handling plenty of other things ... many of which take quite a bit of time ... the casino is dealing only in quickly dispensing cash.
