carbon Posted December 6, 2015 #1 Share Posted December 6, 2015 7 nights on the Oasis have been on ship and done all ports before. 10 nights on the Serenade have done ship but 3 new ports. 10 nights means more days off work and no day between trip and back at the office. 7 days on Oasis gives us less days off and a day to catch up before heading back to the office. Darling hubby said he will go along with what ever I want since I make all the travel plans. Have reservations on both ships but will cancel one. Clarea Posted December 6, 2015 #2 Share Posted December 6, 2015 If the price and stateroom category are similar, I'd go with the longer cruise.
Langley Cruisers Posted December 6, 2015 #3 Share Posted December 6, 2015 (edited) 10 nights on Serenade beats 7 nights on Oasis for me. Absolutely phenomenal. :) Edited December 6, 2015 by Langley Cruisers

Coralc Posted December 6, 2015 #6 Share Posted December 6, 2015 Airfare is the same for 10 nights as it is for 7. I would go for the longer cruise and getaway. Better ports too! :D
js Posted December 6, 2015 #7 Share Posted December 6, 2015 If you are doing a poll, Id take the longer cruise. I sailed Serenade when she was in PR years ago and missed the promenede but still enjoyed the ship. Does it still leave from PR?

davidsmum Posted December 6, 2015 #11 Share Posted December 6, 2015 Just off an 11 night on serenade. Our first 2 cruises were on Oasis and we both LOVED serenade! We were worried about how we would feel about a smaller ship but we quickly came to the conclusion that we would sail smaller ships moving forward. Partly due to the wider variety of ports available with smaller ships but also due to the wonderful service and feeling we had on serenade. We were blown away by the personal attention and intimacy that serenade afforded. Take the 10 day!! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
CRUISEBOY305 Posted December 6, 2015 #12 Share Posted December 6, 2015 I would go with 10 nights on Serenade. $350 sounds like a minimal difference IMO considering you'd be cruising a bit longer and 3 new ports.

I use to sail the larger ships but now I'm enjoying Radiance and Vision class more and more.

Aquahound Posted December 6, 2015 #17 Share Posted December 6, 2015 For what it's worth, here's another vote for the 10 night Serenade cruise. :)
luvscruising2007 Posted December 6, 2015 #18 Share Posted December 6, 2015 Serenade- 3 more days, 3 new ports.
OfTheSeasCruiser Posted December 6, 2015 #19 Share Posted December 6, 2015 It would be Serenade for me also. Oasis and Radiance Class happen to be my two favorite classes, so both would be great options for me, but the longer cruise always wins out.
