Appreciate, Dave, this interesting and very visual reminder about the importance and details on depth of field. Also, liked the cute posting about how one, two, three, four or five drinks can create some interesting visuals differences.

Another cool one, is to photograph a Piano keyboard at different apertures, one of the beauties of digital is you have no trouble matching which DoF was which aperture.

When I used to teach photography, I'd ales advise changing the distance you were shooting from, to see how that changes DoF.
