Back from Freedom of the Seas Christmas cruise

Real short review..... My wife and I had a great cruise food was fantastic dining room and the speciality restaurant Giavoni and Sabor Mexican were exceptional. We also attended the mystery dinner we all had a great time and alot of laughs we had great table mates. They always had our wine glasses full. The ship was in pretty good shape clean. The crew was very friendly and helpful

We did the western Caribbean ports all nice weather and great times. The only negative thing about the trip that it's all done

One last thing next time I'm purchasing the drink package lol.

Did you try breakfast in the main dining room?

We tried Breakfast in the MDR and it was OK. The best bits by far were making your own fruit salad. The buffet options in the MDR ranged from really basic to merely OK - same as a basic 3 star hotel. The breakfast options in the Windjammer were not great either but you could pick some items to make an OK breakfast. We also tried breakfast delivered to our rooms and probably the best option for many people.

 

We're only just back from the US trip yesterday so I'll try and write a better review in the next few days.

At Sabor, did they have individual prices for dishes plus $5.00 fee for guacamole or is it now one set price?

We did Sabor for lunch, still priced as a one set price, which for lunch wasn't bad. We LOVED this lunch, and felt it was the best meal all week!!!

Freedom has always been one set price. Oasis and Allure are a la carte.
