Jimmy Geegitz Posted January 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Read on another cruise page that Carnival is coming out with a new shared Cheers program. 2 people $75.. Can have a total of 20 drinks between the 2. Anyone else hear any news on this?
VitaminDLover Posted January 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 6, 2016 I also saw this and I'm interested to see if it is actually true!
Dixie24 Posted January 6, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Would be amazing and the perfect plan for us
firemanbobswife Posted January 6, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Now that would be something we would consider. I wish they would also have a lesser plan for singles like up to 10 drinks a day or so. I like to have a beverage or two here and there while on a cruise, but there's no way I could ever come close to getting my money's worth on the Cheers plan as it stands now. wantocruisemore Posted January 6, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 6, 2016 I'd love to be able to just get Cheers on sea days. Then I would feel like I would use it. Because of port days I just don't think we would use current program. For reduced for a couple, I would need to find out more info. That might work. Rare Cruisegirl6 Posted January 6, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 6, 2016 That can't be that means they only would take in $3.75 a drink, perhaps for $120 maybe.

E&B Posted January 6, 2016 #9 Share Posted January 6, 2016 I would now seriously consider this. Just wondering. If this comes out, how easy is it to cancel bottles of champagne I've ordered through Bon Voyage and the wine package?
johnnyf0614 Posted January 6, 2016 #10 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Wow, great idea! I wonder how it would work for those who have separate reservation numbers due to connecting cabins? My next cruise, my wife and I are in connecting with the kids, but I'm in one cabin, and the wife is in the other...

Yeah the price now is basically $120 for 2 for a total of 30 drinks. That's only $4.

queeniesgirl Posted January 6, 2016 #16 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Any idea when they are rolling this out? We cruise in March and I'm hopeful it will be before then :)
tbo Posted January 6, 2016 #17 Share Posted January 6, 2016 So that's 75/day for 2 people? That is more in line with what I'd be willing to spend, right now it's 804 for a 7 day cruise for the 2 of us, we aren't huge drinkers so it's not worth it. kimmimom Posted January 6, 2016 #20 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Oops! I think you meant $604. For 7 days.. is more in line. I think it is $49.95/day plus tips so it is like $57/person/day and that comes out to about $800. They used to have cheaper daily prices if you were on a longer cruise (42.95/day/person for 7 night), but those went away.
christyran1228 Posted January 6, 2016 #21 Share Posted January 6, 2016 I hope this isn't just speculation ... we would definitely take advantage of this.
mom2tcdx2 Posted January 6, 2016 #22 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Now that I would do, though again I don't think even my husband and I would drink 20 drinks total. But I would normally do 2-4 when I don't have the package, I might manage 6-7 with the package. Would be nice if they would manage to open that up before our upcoming sailing. Right now for our 10 day cruise I think it is around $1100 for both of us, I would much rather do $750.

Mistyhon Posted January 6, 2016 #25 Share Posted January 6, 2016 Holy Crap we would totally do this on our next cruise. It's just a short 5 day bahamas and we could totally drink that much!! Ok, we may not but it would be fun trying.
