We'll be on Emerald for 19 days beginning 1/18 so guess we'll find out. LuLu Edited January 8, 2016 by OCruisers
paul929207 Posted January 8, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 8, 2016 It was in the Crown Grill on the Crown Princess to the South Pacific in October & November
goofy559 Posted January 8, 2016 #5 Share Posted January 8, 2016 We were on the emerald for NYE and the pub lunch was held in the wheelhouse. The salty dog doesn't start until 6pm so it doesn't impact lunch hour activities. Although we had 3 sea days, we only saw 1 pub lunch.
Colo Cruiser Posted January 8, 2016 #6 Share Posted January 8, 2016 I agree the SD is not affecting the Pub Lunch. :)

moki'smommy Posted January 8, 2016 #8 Share Posted January 8, 2016 This was on my mental list for our last cruise and I totally missed it. Info please--sea days only? Port days only? Varies, watch the Patter? I don't want to miss it next time!

Colo Cruiser Posted January 8, 2016 #14 Share Posted January 8, 2016 The pub lunch is on some sea days. Check the Patter each day I started to say sea days but it seems I read a post where someone who just returned from a cruise said they had one on a port day. Anyway its not everyday. cafelovercanada Posted January 8, 2016 #17 Share Posted January 8, 2016 The salty dog is not on every ship. Hi - we're sailing on the Coral this June and understand there is no Salty Dog or Crown Grill. Does anyone know if the pub lunch will be available on the Coral? blkspy Posted January 8, 2016 #19 Share Posted January 8, 2016 (edited) The Pub lunch is held in the Crown Grill on some ships due to the absence of kitchen access to the Wheelhouse lounge. On the Royal/Regal the Wheelhouse lounge has kitchen access through the connected Crown Grill. Must have access to a galley.....Not the same on all ships. What ever venue its held in on your cruise, its a 'Tasty' option:) Edited January 9, 2016 by blkspy
patch nine Posted January 9, 2016 #20 Share Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) On the Diamond Princess last October the pub lunch was served in one of the any time dining restaurants on the second sea day Edited January 9, 2016 by patch nine
Rare cr8tiv1 Posted January 9, 2016 #21 Share Posted January 9, 2016 2 sea days on the 4 day Crown Princess cruise to no where (January). No Pub Lunch. On a 7 day Crown Princess Coastal Cruise (2 sea days) in October, there was one Pub Lunch. The Crown does have the Salty Dog. I am convinced the Pub Lunch for free is going to be gone on any ship with a Salty Dog. Boo....hiss...
MargoK Posted January 9, 2016 #22 Share Posted January 9, 2016 We were very disappointed that there was NO Pub Lunch during our 13 night cruise on the Golden Princess over Christmas and New Year :( Come on Princess - just because you are sailing downunder does not mean we don't like Pub Lunches! Please bring them back.

Will Alfredo's--with the elimination of Sabatini's--eventually incure, say a $9.95 charge for its Italian fare? Over the last 2-3 years the Pub Lunch has been reduced in days offered, selections and portions. Just Saying .

I think the offerings including days have gotten better over the years and you can order as much as you want. At least on all our cruises. What selections have gone away?
