Help! Need advice on which Houston airport

My Husband and I are booked on the Caribbean Princess, leaving March 13, 2016. We were going to fly into Hobby but looking at flights/prices it looks like flying into Bush would be better.

 

Which airport is better? Bush or Hobby?

We have not used Hobby so I can not say which one is better.

 

However, the shuttle to Galveston costs more from IAH and takes about 30 minutes more.

Hobby is much closer, being located on the south side of Houston.

Bush (IAH) is on the far north side of Houston.

 

Weigh the price difference with transportation costs and the additional time it will take to get to Bayport from IAH in making your decision,

We are sailing on the Caribbean Princess on March 30 and the price of the transfers are $48.00 pp round trip from Hobby. :rolleyes:

Thank you that is what our TA said too. Hubby made reservations for Bush. We'll be saving $$$ by flying in there even with the transfers.
