Twinkletoesandscarynose Posted January 25, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Hello, has any had experience of group babysitting on the Independence? We have a five year old daughter and would prefer group to individual babysitting. What do they do? Also, during the school summer holidays, are the children's facilities completely booked out so it's impossible to get them into the kids clubs? Finally, my husband and I like dancing - we can salsa and are currently learning Latin/Ballroom. Are there lessons on board and where can you dance? I see from the RCI website there is a club called Boleros that plays Latin music, so that might be an option. Many thanks for any help you may be able to give me. cb at sea Posted January 25, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 25, 2016 At 5 years old, your child is the age to LOVE the kid's club..they have evening hours, too! I've never heard of the clubs being overbooked...no worries. I wouldn't count on much ballroom dancing...you might get lucky, but don't base your cruise on it! Grandma Dazzles Posted January 25, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 25, 2016 Independence last summer Boleros was hopping each evening with lots of people dancing - even overflowing into promenade area. Definitely Latin music and atmosphere.
