So, I booked directly through Carnival.

 

We are sailing out of Baltimore on the Pride at the end of March. Thinking that we got the call because we've sailed the Pride several times before. Whatever the reason, I almost fell off my chair with the offer.

 

Here's hoping that others get some pixie dust too!

We got a call to for our Pride 2/14 cruise. Booked guaranteed balcony got a 8E. They offered me a suite for an additional $600.

Does the upsell fairy ever call if you book through a travel agent? Or would they call the travel agent and not you directly? :confused: We have a nice aft balcony but moving into a suite would be nice..:D

I got an upsell call for my May 26 Sunshine cruise out of Charleston. I am in a Lido interior and for $250 they wanted to move me to a Lido balcony. I turned it down tho.

Got an email to move from our balcony on deck 7 to an extended balcony on deck 11 I think it was...but being right under all the activities deck..only $45 but didn't do it

Crusin Daddy ~ I was actually driving when the call came in and asked if I could call her back. When I got home I checked what the extended balcony was booking for and it was almost $700 more than what we paid for our 4K so I knew it was a good deal!!

We got an upsell last summer from a Lido Balcony to an Ocean Suite - I think it was because I had so much OBC when they offered a super military sale. We loved the suite - but not sure it was $700 better. It was still only $2600 for three of us so it was a super deal.
