Your thoughts on Royal Palms, Ft Lauderdale?

717 Breakers Ave. Is this a good location? I see it is ranked #27 out of 137 hotels in Ft Lauderdale by Trip Advisor.

 

I don't know the hotel other than driving by it but the area is excellent. Every time I drive by it there are always guests around the pool having a good time.

 

I was under the impression it was more of a longer stay motel than a one or two night stay resort.

 

Anyway, I wouldn't hesitate to stay there. If you do, please report back and let us know how it was!

Thank you!! I understand it used to be strictly a gay resort, but that has changed now. We have it booked for post cruise for 3 nights. I think I'll keep this one. lol. I have booked and cancelled 3 hotels so far. I think you may have commented on one of the ones that I cancelled.

I'd hang on to it. I knew it used to be a gay resort but all the other former ones have successfully transitioned.
