Giantfan13 Posted January 29, 2016 #1 Share Posted January 29, 2016 We will be arriving in Grand Cayman on March 15, a Friday from 9-5. We would love to do the swim with the Sting Ray and also some sort of tour of the island. Can anyone recommend a guide or a tour group that will get this done? We read about Dextor tours on Trip Advisor, but his tours do not coincide with the time we arrive and depart. anyone else? Cheers Len
Isaboo Posted January 30, 2016 #2 Share Posted January 30, 2016 Following....I'm in the same situation, but our stop is in June from 10:30 to 6. We will be arriving in Grand Cayman on March 15, a Friday from 9-5. JohninDC Posted January 30, 2016 #3 Share Posted January 30, 2016 We've used Moby Dick tours twice for stingray and snorkel tours and would use him again - friendly, very helpful staff, smaller, less crowded boat, good equipment and no pressure to purchase photos, etc. I'm sure Mark can set you up with a driver to tour the island after you return, or just hire a cab driver when you get back to the port area. broncdriver Posted January 31, 2016 #4 Share Posted January 31, 2016 You could also check out Captain Marvins. We've used them several times and will be using them again coming up in February 2016. Nice smaller boats and very personal. Good Luck
Giantfan13 Posted January 31, 2016 Author #5 Share Posted January 31, 2016 Thanks John, I'll definitely look into that. Just for my information, are there taxi's or sort of 'tour guides' readily available at the dock? Are they regulated? thanks again for your help Cheers Len
CP Tech Posted February 2, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2016 We used Captain Chip at Stingray Sailing last time (and have him booked in December again) for the stingrays. Awesome service, limit of 25 people on his cat. Back to the port around 1-1:30 so time to do something after.
