Cabins on the Hump Reflection/Silhouette

I've been on the hump several times and never even thought of seeing into (or looking into) anyone else's cabin. The humps are wonderful because you have a much larger balcony -- two or three times the size of the regular ones. The cabins themselves are identical to any other verandah cabin. I'm afraid I can't help you about the obstruction -- I've never stayed on that deck.

We have booked cabin 6210 on the Reflection, it is on the angled part of the hump \__/ How are these cabins and the obstruction? TIA

I did lots of research of that category for friends, and ended up booking 6240 and 6242. Those, along with the two forward of the hump (6210 included) are great choices with minimal obstruction. Enjoy!

We are leaving Saturday on Reflection cabin 7292. It is a angled aft cabin.

We have stayed on an angled balcony cabin before and found the balcony much bigger and really liked that. It was facing forward and we found that it was quite windy all the time.

As for seeing into other cabins, well, we don't really care and never looked so I cannot tell you if you can see into other cabins or not.

We have 5 couples on this cruise and we are all on the hump adjoining cabins....we cannot wait to open the partitions and have one big huge balcony... :)

We were on Silhouette a couple of weeks ago and our friends were in this very room on my recommendation. They are new cruisers and depend on us for information.

Have no fear, it's a great cabin, just bear in mind you'll be looking over the top of a lifeboat, but considering the price it's a great trade off.

Enjoy your cruise.

Currently on board Reflection, sailing in cabin 6240. Great location, triple size balcony, nice cabin. Some minor obstruction from the lifeboat, but not a big deal in our opinion. One mattress seems newer than the other one, sort of weird, but not a biggie. Balcony could use a good cleaning, lots of white soot/specks and someones toe nail out there Gross! Guess the room stewards don't figure that into their daily duties. Unfortunately, the toilet has that men's urinal smell, don't remember that from when we were last in this same cabin two years ago.

ewwww! gross finding 'clippings'. Hopefully you reported it and had the cabin totally cleaned including finding what the 'smell' belonged to.

Enjoy! We did it in June with 7 cabins. We really had a nice time!
