Warm- stale milk

In all my sailings, I've never had nice cold milk. As a matter of fact, on several occassions I've grabbed a milk that the date still doesn't show expired only to open it and have it be rotten.

 

Why can't they come up with a better way to put milk out that it doesn't get warm and stale?

 

We usually grab some ice and pour the milk on ice, then strain it in a cup so it is nice and cold.

Nothing is worse than warm milk, IMO! If you can put your little carton into the middle of the ice bucket, it should chill it a bit! However...I can easily go a week or more without ever needing to drink milk...

I agree I can only drink ice cold milk preferably in a cold glass. Sometimes I even add chocolate syrup OMG!!!

I don't think I have ever come across warm milk on a cruise. My son is a big milk drinker and he always wants it ice cold. No complaints from him!

I LOVE milk - my favourite is whole milk - more fat = more creamy goodness :)

 

But, I almost never drink milk at home because I prefer to eat my calories - so it's a treat for me on a cruise. I will use it on cereal, or even a glass - but I don't remember ever having a warm milk problem.

I only use a splash of milk in my coffee, so I guess it always ends up warm :p

 

For cereal, oatmeal etc. I use unsweetened almond milk.

Yes I agree with you on milk. Always minimally cold and so is the mini fridge in the room.

If they made room to keep milk cold they'd have to take beer out of the refrigerator. Unacceptable! Let them drink BEER!

Always drink milk, especially at lunchtime, and never had a problem. I don't keep cartons of milk in the mini cooler - it's a cooler, not a true fridge.

Farmer Joe says milk is best as soon as it comes out.....and if it's cold outside, than you get cold milk, but it's mostly warm!

When we ordered room service on the Allure, our milk for the cereal was room temperature. Of course, we didn't drink it. What a waste. We'll never order cereal again since you can't count on the milk being cold.
