cweed Posted February 13, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 13, 2016 We are visiting St. Kitts on our cruise on Navigator of the Seas. Could anyone recommend a shore excursion for four seniors? OR, is there places to walk to from the ship dock i.e. shops, restaurants, beaches that we could do perhaps after a tour of the island? Thank you for your help. sharonlacey Posted February 14, 2016 #2 Share Posted February 14, 2016 The port in St. Kitts is very nice, lots of shops and a nice bar in the middle where you can stop for a cold drink. Also, they have this band of dancers that stop and do this really cool dance. We go to Carambola Beach Club. About a 15 min. cab ride nice restaurant, beach and chairs. The restrooms are very nice and I think 2 chairs and umbrella is 30 or 40$.
mompells Posted February 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2016 Do you know if the snorkeling is good at Carambola Beach? Also - How is the "sea shell hunting"?

The St. Kitts port area is very nice and a good place to go before or after any excursion you are taking! :) LuLu
paul58 Posted February 24, 2016 #6 Share Posted February 24, 2016 Mt Liamuiga on St Kitts and Nevis Peak on Nevis are both inactive volcanos. There are guides available that will take you to the summit. It is a very strenuous hike and should not be attempted without an experienced guide. TG1999 Posted February 24, 2016 #7 Share Posted February 24, 2016 I recommend contacting Liz Pereira of Liz Pereira Tours. For three years we have had the best time on St. Kitts due to her arranging tours for our small group. She will recommend based on your interests and the cost is very reasonable and quite a bit less than ship tours. She uses Blue Water Safaris and other tour operators on the island. Go to her website and email her. She gets back to you within 24 hours.
OCruisers Posted February 24, 2016 #8 Share Posted February 24, 2016 While we have not been, several people have recommended Palm Court. It's within walking distance of the cruise port and they seemed to have enjoyed it. For more information you can check out the Palms Court website. http://www.palmscourtgardens.com LuLu
