BILLP1 Posted February 15, 2016 #1 Share Posted February 15, 2016 Once we made the turn into the main road to the port on departure day about five minutes in we ran into two lanes of traffic which took about twenty minutes to get to the drop off bags location and check in area. Is there a way to get to the parking garage without sitting in this traffic next time . That cruise was on the Anthem but next one will be on the Summit which might have less traffic. What time did you turn into the port road? If everyone arrives at the same time, the traffic will back up. There is no other way to get to the parking garage. The turn off to the parking garage is very close to the terminal. The only thing I can recommend is that you stay in the left lane so that you can turn off to the garage. If everyone in your car is able bodied and you can roll your luggage, you can bypass the luggage drop off area and go directly to the garage. Rare Got2Cruise Posted February 16, 2016 #3 Share Posted February 16, 2016 We sailed the Summit last August. My advice would be to get there early. We arrived 11 am. No backups at all.
