Celebrity silhouette aqua class cabin 1540

We have been in 1540 on Eclipse and Equinox multiple times. The bed is near the balcony, rather than near the closet. You are very close to the forward elevators and have no overhang to block your view of the sky. You are also well enough down from the window washing scaffold that it is not an issue.

Down your hall you will find the back spiral stairs to the gym and farther down is the relaxation room. You are under the hair salon so it's super quiet. No scraping pool chairs.

We enjoy Blu very much, both at dinner and breakfast. I can't speak to Silhouette, but we found the food last month on Equinox to be exceptional.

We have 1540 booked again also on Silhouette in our future.

Going on Silhouette Aqua Class Cabin 1540-Penthouse Deck Any comments on cabin (bed by window or bathroom, balcony etc). Did you enjoy Blu Restaurant and is Aqua Class worth the extra cost?

Just off the Silhouette two weeks ago, first time X cruiser.

The location on the Starboard side and forward of the overhang from the adults only pool will have great views. It is close to the forward elevators and is very convenient. Should be a great location for you.

I will have to fall back to the previous comment about the bed placement, since I didn't stay in the exact room. We changed rooms on our cruise (were booked in 1549 and were moved to 1501 after we found out 1549 is an Obstructed View AquaClass A1, that was never disclosed by our TA) and appreciated a few of the AquaClass amenities. Blu is quite nice, but can get busy. The hostess in Blu is a joy and made our experience there more enjoyable. Qsine is the only other specialty restaurant I can recommend. We dined at some of the others and were really disappointed in the food quality for pay facilities. You are better off in Blu or the MDR.

We booked another cruise on Equinox, but went down to Concierge since we didn't feel that one extra restaurant was worth the jump in price to AquaClass.

Enjoy your cruise!
