Mini Suites and cruise personalizer

Hi!

I'm new to Princess and very excitied about my mini suite on the Caribbean P. I am curious what if anything is included as extras with a mini suite? (I've heard tales of complimentary robes, free mini bars, expanded room service etc, but my TA wasn't sure.)

Also what does Princess do with the info they collect when one registers with the cruise personalizer (fav fruit, drink etc.)

There are actually no perks associated with the mini suites on Princess. You can get a robe for your use on board, but that is about it. The rest of the things you mentioned are only given in the full suites. Sorry!
These extras were offered in mini suites several years ago, but since Princess has changed the rules and only offer them to the suites above the mini suite category.

I have found in the past that the info placed in the personalizer really isn't used that much by them. All of our choices have never really been looked at for our mini suites/staterooms.

The cruise personalizer info is for three primary reasons: passenger manifest information for authorities, emergency contact information, and cruise line marketing.

One really nice feature of the Cruise Personalizer is that if you get upgraded, it will be listed under your cabin info. I would never have known that I was upgraded 3 times if I didn't keep checking it. Easier to check that than to keep calling or emailing ta. I was in a mini and am now upgraded to Premium Suite. You will love the mini-suite, it's great. Have a wonderful cruise.

We were in a mini suite on the Diamond Princess in May and I had requested fruit to be in our cabin on the personalizer. It was there. That was the only thing I requested so I can't answer for the other things.

We usually have a bowl of fruit in our minisuite. We had flowers once, for no apparent reason. Your cabin steward will get you a robe upon request. You get a fridge, but no set-up - that's for full suite & Elite passengers only. I've also read here that most people get a range of stuff that has no correlation with what they've marked on the personalizer, but that the cabin steward exchanged what they didn't want.
