Coyote10 Posted March 5, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 5, 2016 Hi I am just wondering if it is better to prebook the specialty dining, or do they usually have better deals once you get on board? Cruising out of Sydney on the 30th of March Currently they have a 3 dinner package for $91 AUD What have you found in the past? Is it cheaper to wait? Also what themed dress up nights do they usually have on a cruise and how do you know what to bring? eg 70's night, Tropical theme etc Thanks :D

Nessi Posted March 8, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 8, 2016 I am also curious about theme nights. I've never been on RCL before. How do you know what it will be in advance of the cruise? What are they like? Do you dress up?
jspqld Posted March 11, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 11, 2016 I'd wait till on board for dining specials, sometimes all you have to do is ask the specialty dining staff for any specials they can give you, but do this during the day & not around other passengers. Sshhh ;) Also, sometimes if you register at the art auctions on the first day they may give you a whole lot of discount vouchers to use around the ship. Other than formal nights, Royal doesn't really do theme nights. They are more of a small themed party, usually held after 10.30pm in studio B. So you won't find many people dressed up in theme as such. If you really want to partake in dressing up & some do, the most common ones might be a country & western party, 70's, rock & roll & british rock. cb at sea Posted March 12, 2016 #5 Share Posted March 12, 2016 The prices don't change...it might seem better because of exchange rates...but the price it the same.
