mengel246 Posted March 12, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 12, 2016 Next month we'll be on our first cruise. We will also be traveling with our 3 and 5 year old. I've been researching the ports and am wondering if there are some that are not really worth doing excursions for and just getting off and exploring since we have our young kids. I'm trying to work on the port days for our vacation but find it kind of overwhelming when we have to consider the two toddlers. Thanks
cb at sea Posted March 12, 2016 #2 Share Posted March 12, 2016 Most things are easy to do on your own. Before you start booking things...read a guidebook on your ports. That will give you a good idea of ALL that is in each port! Then, you can decide if you need a guide, or if what interests your family is doable on your own! And, with small kids, DIY is on YOUR schedule! Cranky kids...head back to the ship! Go at your own pace! Libraries have guidebooks!....and they're free to read! vcgibson Posted March 13, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 13, 2016 If you're going to do a relaxed beach day over an adventurous excursion, I would pick Cozumel for that...
