Murder Mystery Night at Portofino?

I have heard some people mention the "murder mystery night" held in the Portofino Restaurant.

 

Do you know if it is available on the Voyager out of Bayone? I was on the Voyager last year and never saw this in the Compass.

 

Would love to try it on our November sailing.

I was on Voyager out of Bayonne in September and it was offered on the first night. When we walked thru the Promenade they had a setup of the dinners offered and gave out fliers promoting it.

we actually did it on the Voyager out of bayonne in Sept. I don't think it was worth any extra money, we had fun but it was really corny...food was OK, but I liked the Poritfino on my regular reserved night better...We did this for the fun of it, but I don't think I'd bother again.

Wife and I did the Murder Mystery at Portofino's last night....I'd agree with prior poster. It was interesting, but I wouldn't spend the 50 dollars/person for it again...But then, we aren't into group participation things either.

There are better ways to spend a hundred dollars or more.... on the other hand, the champaign and wine were included so if you are a big drinker it might pay off....

Just curious. I have seen the murder mystery nights in portifinos mentioned more & more over the past few months. Is this cutting into options of what night you can book Portifinos at the regular rate? If you don't want to participate do you still have to pay more on the evenings they elect to have these theme nights? Seems so far it's only one night but what if thats the night you were intending on going. Again, Just curious.
