Grand Vista Suite E733 Question

We also had E733 on the Golden this past December. We loooooved this cabin so much!

The bathroom is amazing. There was a fresh flower arrangement upon our arrival and hors d'oeurves every day. Loved that aft balcony and we slept with the door open every night

(in the Caribbean) Nice upgraded bathroom amenities and a nice wet-bar setup! Also your own slippers with the Princess logo to take home. We had to ask for them though. That obstructing beam was approx. 18 inches wide. The best part about that beam was when the sun was in my eyes, I'd simply pull that lounger chair behind the beam to read my novel!

That balcony on E733 does look small in the book on the diagram. However, it was substantial, and would have fit 14 people maybe

even 16, standing, possibly 20. It's a tad

narrower than the balcony above, most definitely. However, it's way more sizable than the Caribe balconies, for a point of reference. When you step out the sliding glass door, the table is right up on it because of the rounding of the balcony.

The other sliding door is blocked by the beam thing, but that was inconsequential.

And the best thing, when we showed up to the PC dining rooms and they said that it was a long wait, well, I just told the maitre'd that

we were staying in the "Venice Suite" and then

of course there was NO wait.

But earlier I had called the dining room and

asked if there was preferential seating for suite guests and my answer was no. Maybe they

thought I was referring to the minis. So just

know that you can walk right up with no reservations if you have PC dining (with a full suite)

Thanks for the counsel. I agree with all your points. I've actually had a number of cruises with aft cabins, including a transatlantic this past September aboard the Grandeur of the Seas (somewhat rough first couple of days of the crossing. We even skipped Ireland due to gail force winds). We had a two bedroom-two bath suite at the very back of the ship, and it was wonderful. Absolutely a place where you feel the ship's motion though. I love cabins on this location. The motion rocks me to sleep.

Just three weeks to go for the Baltic!!! Can't wait.
