HI Bob

Yes we are prepared!

We have never done any ballroom dancing and was hoping to have some lessons onboard but I believe the lessons are not for beginners as such?

However I am equipped with many dodgy disco moves :)

You are correct. The free dance classes usually are more for a refresher than for beginners. Even if you choose not to dance, the Queens Room is a great place to people watch on Formal "Ball" nights.

The G32 nightclub is located right behind the Queens Room where you can use those dodgy disco moves with a more contemporary, live band :D)

I assume lessons are casual smart and would flat shoes for women be ok?

Sorry if this is very very basic but that's my current level.:(

For shoes I would suggest leather soles. The heels are not that important and can be rubber, but if possible avoid rubber soled shoes as these can grab the floor and hurt knees and such during turns, etc.

I know you will have a great time!

Doug
