TeDaKi Posted March 21, 2016 #1 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Hi! Does anyone know if cruise ships (specifically HAL) provide a "paid" shuttle into the centre of Valencia? If so, where does it usually drop you off and about how much does it cost? I'm thinking it should probably go someplace near Plaza Ayuntamiento, but I'm not sure. Any help/advice??? Thanks :), TeDaKi

hkto Posted March 21, 2016 #3 Share Posted March 21, 2016 Taxis in Valencia are inexpensive; shouldn't be much more than shuttle if its not available. Time to Ayuntamiento is around 20 min, City of Science/Oceanarium - 10 min. Also city bus #4 goes to centre. Single fare-1.5€, 10 trip Bonobus card - 8€
Rare Keith1010 Posted March 22, 2016 #4 Share Posted March 22, 2016 I would post this on the HAL board. Keith

hkto Posted April 7, 2016 #11 Share Posted April 7, 2016 can you go from Plaza Ayuntamiento directly to the aquarium and then from the aquarium to port? Of course but its a long walk, about 45 min https://goo.gl/np8hTu Walk from Oceanográfic to port is about the same time
hkto Posted April 7, 2016 #12 Share Posted April 7, 2016 (edited) what do you suggest to visit the old area or the new area of Valencia? Both are worthy. Valencia tourism publishes this attractions and route map https://goo.gl/8SjadC Old town is quite small and has larger number of marked attractions. The City of Arts and Sciences is marked as single attraction but covers large area plus some portion of Turia gardens which are nice. hkto Posted April 7, 2016 #14 Share Posted April 7, 2016 Yes, 15 & 95 for sure. I think 13 also. try playing with https://www.emtvalencia.es/geoportal/ (hover mouse over the stop to which buses stop there) to see where stops are in old city
