Balcony question

Recommended Posts

I will be sailing on Caribbean Princess in October and this will be my first cruise with a balcony. Can somebody tell me how windy it is when the ship is moving. I am pretty far aft on Riviera Deck. R709. If anybody is familiar with this deck, please tell me if the balcony is covered. Thanks.

Your balcony will be fully covered on Riviera. There can be a bit of swirling wind out there when the ship is at speed - if you've just done your hair for formal night, I'd not stand at the rail before dinner in other words. But if you're seated and out there just enjoying, you shouldn't get blown out of there icon_smile.gif
