sammiedawg Posted May 4, 2004 #26 Share Posted May 4, 2004 You will be fine with a noon flight out of FLL. No matter how good a vacation we have, we are always ready to get home. Take a cab to and from FLL, a very quick and easy trip.
Jerlyn Posted May 5, 2004 #27 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Chris, thank you very much for the info on the limo service, I will put the number in my cell phone and be good to go. I will also call to book soon. Jerlyn
DesrtDrmr Posted May 5, 2004 #28 Share Posted May 5, 2004 We usually try to book a flight after noon, and if we get there early, we ask about getting on an earlier flight, standby, without paying any extra fee. We have been accommodated all but one time, and this has been the case whether we are flying coach, or first, that we had paid cash or used frequent flyer miles. It's just a bonus if we get home earlier, but still okay if we get home when originally planned. Hawaii - On the Island
verwirrt Posted May 5, 2004 #29 Share Posted May 5, 2004 Forgive me if this isn't the proper forum for this question but I am wondering about FLL. We are returning from our October sailing via FLL for the second time. Last year we returned on a Sunday, middle of November. I can only describe the experience as hellish! The place was utter chaos. Security barked at the passengers with more gusto than my drill instructor in the Air Force. Lines wound WAY out the door. We waited over 3 hours to get through security. The whole operation seemed extremely disorganized. Am dreading going through that again. Is it always that way?! Sharon
