it's this wickedly rich choclate dessert that used to be on the always available menu but some folks say it's now only available once a cruise

 

I think someone somewhere has a pic of it...it looks innocent and small, but it packs a powerful choclate punch

I am very sorry to have come accross as offensive- I was HONESTLY just being tongue-in-cheek- no offense as intended AT ALL!

 

I also appreciated that it was pointed out that *I* once asked similiar questions, and that I am in fct a "newbie". Perhaps I should hsbe included something that my dear grandma always said "when you point your finger at someone else, always pay attention to the 3 pointed right back at you." (she would then demonstrate with her index finger pointed and draw attention to the 3 fingers tucked towards yourself)

 

I was TOTALLY being sarcastic. I trull thought the more experienced cruisers would chuckle, while the newer cruisers might also laugh a bit at themselves.

 

For the record, I am not the least bit cranky and I would be happy to take a chill pill, can I get them without a perscription or should I go to one of those pharmacy's in Mexico?

 

Last thing- one poster said: "Some times being on your *** (arse) is the best thing to do in a port, been to Ocho Rios?"

 

I am from BUFFALO, as long as there is no snow I can find a way to be happy.

I have learned alot from these boards. The one thing that I would strongly suggest is that people who start a topic go back at least 3 pages. More than likely the very subject has been brought up. Right now on page 1 there is two posts of the advantages of booking on board for future cruises. I know for me when I want or need a question answered I go back around 5 pages and if not than I start a new topic. I think we are all in agreement that the search engine on this board leaves much to be desired. Again thank you for all of the helpful answers and I will always try to answer any question that I know.

I thought it was funny - she says after the fact. I have been on one cruise in my lifetime and I only know one thing for sure - THE COFFEE STINKS!! I learned so much from this board and hope I can give some good advise.

Don't feel slighted that I didn't comment on the subsequent post. I was just too lazy to copy and paste two quotes, though I found the piling on rather interesting. I read the original post, interpretted it as tongue-in-cheek, and tried to have a little fun with it. My intent at highlighting the "44 posts" comment (after all, you did boldface it) was to address what I considered an ill-advised effort to equate total posts with one's right to elect oneself the board's conscience. I've seen exactly that happen elsewhere, and when the dust finally settled there were no winners. No offense was intended or implied, but you have a right to your own interpretation.

 

For the record, I do answer many of the repeated upgrade, cabin, and liquor questions. Keeps the old post total growing.

You know that, I know that, We know that...but does the new member know that?

That's all I'm worried about anytime a tongue-in-cheek post like this comes up.

While new members might not have a lot to contribute right away, their "new person" perspective can and has offered unique interpretations, ideas and questions.

But that perspective only lasts just so long, then they've been absorbed by the knowledge and viewpoints expressed here and accept them as their own.

If they get scared off before they have a chance to interact then we lose all that.

I probably didn't explain that very well but I've seen it happen in other Internet based forums to where growth was simply halted, conversations were dominated by "insiders" that "got" the joke, and the forum lost it's value.

All of you have WAY too much to offer to let that happen.
