cindersue Posted May 9, 2004 #76 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Even some of the nastiest arguements here on Princess don't hold a candle to the fights on the HAL boards!!!!In my opinion Princess People (on the boards) are much friendlier and upbeat than SOME of the regulars on HAL.... Cindy (but when I went on a HAL cruise the passengers were great) Cruisin with Sis,Clark,& Lana Inside Passage Regal
stoneharborlady Posted May 9, 2004 #77 Share Posted May 9, 2004 I am a new member of these boards. I thank my lucky stars for each and every one of you who takes the time to answer our questions, whether you perceive them to be dumb or not. Its fun to talk cruising with people who love it so much they dont mind sharing their experiences and opinions with us newbies. Obviously we are all enjoying talking about it, or none of us would be here. I think half the fun of a vacation is the planning and anticipation, and its also fun rehashing it when its over. MANY THANKS FROM A NEWBIE!!!
jemingway Posted May 9, 2004 #78 Share Posted May 9, 2004 If you have never done it, go participate in the topics on the Celebrity board. There are a few nice people, but the majority are very nasty. It's kind of like they're saying Celebrity belongs to them and they don't want anyone else to have it-particularly "your kind", which is directed at every kind. jemingway Posted May 9, 2004 #82 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Sue, you will note that the 4 stages do not include post cruise depression, since there is just not time for it. srphnx Posted May 9, 2004 #85 Share Posted May 9, 2004 Booking on board is my new favorite ship activity, I thought I was nuts for taking two last cruise, booked em both within a week of being ashore.
quote:
Originally posted by sue d. miller: You are right about that. kayr2 Posted May 9, 2004 #86 Share Posted May 9, 2004 SRPHNX: As a native and retired City employee, I can't help but ask, what area of Phx. do you call home? Although I live in Colorado Springs now, Phoenix is still home to me. You can write me at kayr@att.net. My friend and I will be cruising on the Sapphire Princess, 1/18/05 to Australia and New Zealand. Before that, however, we are going on the Celebrity Constellation, 7/17/04, to Northern Europe and the Fjords. kayr2
