What's this on deck 13 of the Escape?

Typically those are crew or engineering work or storage spaces. ;)

 

I thought so. You just never know. I was pointing out the new cabin that I let NCL pick out (they cancelled my cruise, so I had to change cruises.. getting off deck 5 was a bonus). Hubby pointed out that blank space and asked what's that? Hmm.. I don't know. I was afraid I had messed up!

It could be the A/C fan room for the forward section, but given the cabins above and below most of it, probably not as these spaces tend to be a couple of decks high. My guess is possibly a room service galley, and/or a mixture of electrical rooms, linen stores, and cabin steward pantry.
