Just off the Pride 8 night - Great but bumpy ride!

The camera must have stayed on board at Grand Turk, but we just shopped and hung out at Margaritaville for a while and got back on the ship.

I will try to figure out how to get the FunTimes scanned in and uploaded to Photobucket soon. I have photos being shared and added to multiple albums by the rest of my party so if I come across more good ones I'll post them.

I forgot to mention that we had FTTF and our rooms were ready when we boarded. We had the Oasis at Half Moon Cay so didn't need to use it there. There seemed to never be any line at GS so we just used the normal line the few times we needed to visit. We used it at debarkation and it was very nice to wait in the Captain's Lounge and be escorted past many people waiting for zones to be called. They never announced FTTF, they just came to the room and had us come with them. We had nearly no line at customs and were out and on our way to our hotel by 10.

We all used the Hub app and it was great to be able to chat with our group on board and communicate where we were and if anyone needed something they could ask and whoever was nearest a cabin could grab it. Very handy.

All in all, besides the bumpy ride, it was a really great cruise.

And I thought this was one of the smoothest rides ever. And believe me I've been on some bumpy rides...

It may have been that our cabins were aft, but out of 8 cruises this was our bumpiest. We still had a great time though! :D

Any idea why the Pride arrived so early today. I think it is normally scheduled for close to 9AM, not before 7.

Roy

We were on the 4/23 - 5/1 sailing and did the Behind the Fun tour. The Captain told us we would be arriving early because they had some "business to take care of." He didn't elaborate, but from what he was saying, it sounded more administrative than technical.

Nice review. We love the Pride. Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk are wonderful. Agree about getting back on the ship at Grand Turk for food and drink.

In March our first day out of Baltimore was a little rough, rest of the trip was not. We like the aft of the ship and we have felt the vibrations. After the first few hours I am able to ignore them.

Love the pics..what kind of camera did you use

Thank you, it's a Canon Powershot sx530. It was my first time with a larger camera and though it takes nice pictures, I will be looking for another point and shoot that takes nice ones as this wasn't convenient to carry around with us and so I missed many shots that I would have snapped otherwise.

Thanks for the review. We have been on the Pride once and will be going on it again in July. I hope we don't have any bumpy rides to or from. One our last trip, we didn't have any rough seas.

We were on the Pride 8 night to Nassau, Half Moon Cay and Grand Turk. It was the bumpiest ride out of our 8 cruises but we had a great time!

I will get to uploading some photos, and I did manage to get all of the Funtimes home so will upload those at some point as well.

We had an aft balcony, 4230, and were connected to the Vista suite 4228 next door. These were beautiful accommodations! There was quite a bit of vibration and we put a hand towel in the bathroom door at night to reduce room rattling. Our seas were pretty rocky the first couple of days and some in our group were sick. There were bags by the elevators and the dining room was pretty empty for breakfast our first morning. Glasses slid across our table and our daughter had to leave and she was sick most of that day. It was her 25th birthday so we had several birthday re-dos over the week.

Me and DH are both 46, and this was my sister's first cruise. She and a friend came along as well as another great friend who we met on a cruise in 2012, and she had graciously invited our daughter to share the Vista suite.

Other than the bumpy ride, we found the ship clean and beautiful. We really enjoyed the staff in all areas. Our room steward was Randy, and he was especially outstanding. He serviced our rooms twice a day and I found the new card on day 3, lol, so never chose morning or evening service. I asked for ice once and then it was there every day.

We had Cheers and it was great. We had coffee, vitamin water, milkshakes, beverages to our hearts content. We never reached the limit but I know we were close on a couple of sea days. I love the all inclusive feeling.

Food was excellent in the MDR every night that we were there. We ate in the Steakhouse one night and the food and service were great there as well. My daughter and friend did the Chef's Table one night as a birthday surprise and my daughter is still raving at that experience. We did that menu last year so are looking forward to it again once it changes.

I had to visit the medical center on the last day as I had symptoms of a bladder infection/UTI and they gave me some medication to get me home and didn't charge me anything. They were great. This is the first time I've had to go to A deck and it was a little scary but turned out to be a great experience.

We had the Oasis at Half Moon Cay and OMG, that was AMAZING!!! I feel so lucky that we were able to get that. The personal chefs and bar and all staff there were so attentive and caring. We also had massages on the island and they were excellent.

Nassau we went to the Breezes resort and it was nice but very overrun by spring breaking youngsters.

Grand Turk was nice, we had a Cabana but decided after just a few hours to enjoy the free food/drinks on the ship rather than pay high prices for the same on the island. We have been here several times so that wasn't a hard choice to make.

I will work on some pictures as soon as I can but am happy to answer any questions. We had a great cruise but can't wait to go out of Miami on the Vista in April in a Havana Cabana cabin.

Stay away from the aft.
