Beryl Posted May 7, 2004 #3 Share Posted May 7, 2004 It is wonderful to read a first timer's impressions of a cruise. They are usually so refreshing and positive. It seems some of us get more jaded and begin to nit-pick a little more with each cruise we take....not me of course Cruising! It's like being in the Garden of Eatin'! Rare Coral Posted May 7, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Beryl - that is so true. After several cruises, we do seem to be more critical.
mii Posted May 7, 2004 #5 Share Posted May 7, 2004 Beryl, you hit the nail right on the head. My very first cruise was on the old Sky Princess and I loved everything about the ship and I mean everything. Then as time went on and I went on more and more cruises I think we all do get a little bit cynical and pick everything to death. I am going to try really hard not to do that anymore because no matter what happens right or wrong I am going to enjoy that cruise. Beryl Posted May 8, 2004 #6 Share Posted May 8, 2004 I'm going to try to do the same Marilyn! I sure wish there was a way to have bottled that first cruise feeling!! Cruising! It's like being in the Garden of Eatin'!

HeatherDMG Posted May 10, 2004 #11 Share Posted May 10, 2004 All cruises can have that first cruise feeling! You just have to go onboard with a good attitude, a happy spirit, and quit whining, nitpicking and complaining!
