Cruise Docs!

My family and I are booked on the Carribean Princess for June 19th and received our cruise documents in the mail today. On the evelope they came in, it says express check-in, should we be excited?

Anytime you get docs you should be happy, express means you can use a different line which MAY be faster, it may not.

Consider yourself lucky to have your docs. I am leaving on May 21st and still don't have mine.

You are lucky to have received your docs so early. I'm leaving on the 29th and just got them a few days ago. Anyone who has completed their information on the "cruise personalizer" gets to check in on the express line. I think there are as many express check-ins as regular. Either way you won't have much of a line. Princess is very efficient about getting everyone checked in quickly. Have a wonderful cruise!

Indeed. Express is about the same as at the grocery.. not necessarily so, but Princess is the best for embarkation. By far.

I checked with my TA. They said they mailed them out on the 4th. I figure that means the 5th. So if I don't have them Monday, I guess I call again.

Hi Lynda,

What can you tell me about "cruise personalizer" where is that(Princess website?) we have always sailed RCL and they did have something like that on their website. This is our first Princess cruise (Caribbean Princess 7/24) any other tips for Princess?

All you will need is your name and five character booking number. Fill in your immagration details and emergency contact and you are done.

Go to princess.com and click on "cruise personalizer." You will be asked for your name and booking number. When you click "submit" your cruise information will appear. On the left (I think) will be different things to click on and you can start filling in all your personal information. When everything is complete, you will be eligible for express check-in. You should check your cruise peronalizer often, because any upgrades you might luckily receive will appear under your category and cabin number. Have fun!

And to gain access to the Personalizer you have to enter your name EXACTLY as it appears on your booking. So, if you have any problems at all, ask your TA. Maybe they have a middle initial or something.

 

Completing the Immigration section and giving them the credit card that you want to use while onboard are the two key things to get "Express".
