cruzinchris Posted October 24, 2005 #4 Share Posted October 24, 2005 Workstocruise, DH and I won't be in 704, but we are booked in B710 for our 1/28/06 cruise (second time on CB). Since there are no public areas on Baja deck, presumably the only people who will enter/exit elevators will be passengers in staterooms on this deck. I don't think there will be high traffic volume, and there are walls that separate corridors from the elevator shafts. DH and I were in L306 last year, which has similar proximity to elevators/stairs as your stateroom. There was definitely a lot of traffic in this area with passengers exiting to public areas on Lido deck, but there is no noise from the elevators themselves. Bon Voyage! cjh Posted October 24, 2005 #5 Share Posted October 24, 2005 We have always been next to the elevator because we are in handicap cabins because of kids in wheelchairs and have never had a problem with noise from the elevator
tatoo Posted December 4, 2005 #6 Share Posted December 4, 2005 workstocruise, I'm just back yesterday from a awsome cruise, cabin B704 is so beautiful no elevator cruise at all, when you step out of the cabin the elevator are there, up to deck 15 to caribe cafe or down on deck 6 to palm dinning room, the balcony is about 5 feet by 10 and the view is great . if you have any others questions ask me Michel
workstocruise Posted December 6, 2005 Author #7 Share Posted December 6, 2005 Thanks for getting back to me on this cabin. My cruise is not until March 11, but I can't wait. I was worried about the size of the balcony but 5 x 10 is not bad. I can live with that. Glad to hear your cruise was good.:)
