ccc321 Posted June 6, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 6, 2016 I am cruising in July with my sister to celebrate the h.s graduation of our children. My niece is going into the military and was recently told she may start earlier than anticipated. She may not be able to vacation with us. Is there a possibility of changing the passenger if she can't go (with or without a fee)?
colecandler Posted June 6, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 6, 2016 I'm pretty confident this can be done....last year my wife was going on a Carnival Cruise with her brother and his girlfriend. There was a melt-down the day BEFORE the cruise and they were able to change out the girlfriend for a daughter that close. I'm sure there was a fee - but don't know how much. gmazz Posted June 6, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 6, 2016 When we were going on the BA last summer my older daughter was almost not able to come with us. She had to take a summer course at college and her professor did not want time missed or she would have been failed. We did work it out that she could come because it was a course retake but I did call NCL and was told that up to 7 days before sailing I could have someone else take her place. Not sure about any costs involved because they did not say anything to me about that but for sure you can have someone else take a passenger's place. Fingers crossed you won't have to!
