Geeocacher Posted June 16, 2016 #1 Share Posted June 16, 2016 I just went to make reservations for MTD for our group and was told "Unfortunately, these reservations may not be combined to create a single reservation. Please proceed to make separate reservations for each party." Is that going to cause any problem with us all arriving for one table, or does it actually make any difference? cb at sea Posted June 16, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 16, 2016 You show up together, you're seated together, unless you're a HUGE party!
js Posted June 15, 2017 #3 Share Posted June 15, 2017 You show up together, you're seated together, unless you're a HUGE party! Hi. What do we do about a huge party? We were a family of 11 that were going to show up together but my cousins may come and that will make the dinner reservation for some nights a party of 18-20. Thank you. No tables that big on any ships. If you show up together and ask to be put in the same area they should do it (unless the dining room is full already). Either go when the dining room opens or wait until after 7 or so. The problem with going later is that you are waiting for tables to free up and large tables in one area won't open up at the same time. Not sure I have ever seen a wait team working several large tables. Most will have maybe one large and several smaller tables. You can also try asking the hostess at the entrance to set things up for the next night. Sometimes they are there outside normal hours or you can check when you leave dinner. Trying to set up some nights is probably harder than setting up every night at the same time.
