P&O bed clearances for luggage

Recommended Posts

There's no problems on Arcadia. We have just returned from a sector of her World Cruise and we had large suitcases and they fitted under the bed with room to spare and they were closed. I definitely wouldn't put them on the balcony as they would get very wet either from rain or salt water spray and also end up covered in salt. We actually had quite a bit of dried salt on our balcony after experiencing strong winds. :o When we have had less room on various ships, we just open them up and slide them under the bed as suggested by others.

All you have to do is tilt the edge of the bed, and they will slide underneath. We do it every time no problem. :D

You could leave them open, we did that on Britannia. We have hard shell cases and they fit fine. Easy to throw laundry into too!

We tipped our cabin Stewart at the start of our cruise for her help in taking our empty suitcases away and storing them in a locker. That's what voluntary tipping is all about, service above and beyond.

Our stewards have always taken any cases away and stored them till the last night for us.

Just keep one for the dirty laundry if you wish, open under the bed.

We've just returned from Arcadia - there was no way we could get case under the bed. Zip front cases cant be halved by opening them - plus - even opened up my Samsonite case still did not fit under the bed. Fortunately, in an aft suite we could stand one close to the door and one between the desk and the sofa without impairing the room/floor space.
