Ander026 Posted June 20, 2016 #2 Share Posted June 20, 2016 Good morning. I am currently on Majesty and we are not scheduled to arrive to port until 9:45 due to 6m waves overnight. I already posted this message on the roll call page but it isn't very active. Here is what Marc Walker posted on Facebook this morning "For anyone cruising on majesty today we are arriving 3 hours late due to bad weather last night. Boarding will start late. If you are at home still, stay there and get here for around 12 or 1. Don't think any of us slept last night !!"
emmy Posted June 20, 2016 #3 Share Posted June 20, 2016 I have been watching her on Marine Traffic on http://www.portcanaveralwebcam.com She was coming in then turned the other way and is back on her way in now Thanks for the update :)
Scotty G Posted June 20, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 20, 2016 The Captain's announcement said that Navy departures from the port were holding us up as well. Seas were rough but we have seen worse. Being chased into PC by Sandy was smoother than last night.

emmy Posted June 20, 2016 #8 Share Posted June 20, 2016 (edited) Looks like she is out there doing loop d loops... waiting on the Navy I assume. http://www.portfever.com archived captures showed a naval vessel in port departing about 7 am. That vessel is gone now. She looks like she is on her way and will be in view shortly Edited June 20, 2016 by emmy
troykahack Posted June 20, 2016 #9 Share Posted June 20, 2016 I am curious to read further reports from those aboard and their experience from the seas. Majesty is our weekender cruise ship now since Enchantment was deployed to Miami.

mommyrants Posted June 20, 2016 #12 Share Posted June 20, 2016 Marc Walker posted this as well. The boat in the background gives some perspective on the size o this beast.

monctonguy Posted June 20, 2016 #15 Share Posted June 20, 2016 And that's the risk to those who book those AM flights....they were all missed. Terrible way and stress to deal with to end your vacation and get home.
CarpeCerevisi Posted June 20, 2016 #16 Share Posted June 20, 2016 Looks like a Virginia class attack boat. Overall length is 377 feet, less than half the length of Majesty. There are currently 12 of the class currently in commission, six building and another 30 planned after that.

Rare John&LaLa Posted June 20, 2016 #18 Share Posted June 20, 2016 She was a UK Trident boat. Cheaters has been welcoming them all last week. ;) There was at least one surface ship with her as well.
troykahack Posted June 20, 2016 #19 Share Posted June 20, 2016 She was a UK Trident boat. Ship tracker showed both a UK boat and UK ship. Two of them that left the port at about the time Majesty was near, only because Majesty was delayed.
j3mlee Posted June 24, 2016 #20 Share Posted June 24, 2016 We boarded the ship on 6/20. We got a text that boarding was delayed until noon but were almost there so we headed to the port at 11am. We were turned away and not allowed to park. We went back at 12:30 and the lines were LONG. The security line stretched through the parking garage. We finally got on board at 2:50. Windjammer still had a bit of food but they were taking it away very quickly in order to prepare for the muster drill. This was a bad way to start our cruise but we had a such a wonderful time after that. We did miss CocoCay on Tuesday due to rough weather but we made it there on Thursday and it was gorgeous!
