cruisecraze96 Posted June 26, 2016 #4 Share Posted June 26, 2016 V25 is the cabin smack behind this baby: EM Ouch, I would think about moving if possible. But I like to sit out on my balcony at night and read and watch the water.

xaro Posted June 26, 2016 #6 Share Posted June 26, 2016 Change rooms, you are going to see mostly orange in front of you and will have to look extreme right & left to see a sliver of anything.
RedBeard78 Posted June 26, 2016 #7 Share Posted June 26, 2016 I would take that before an interior room any day of the week. Plus if you get an obstructed suite, you get priority boarding. It's a great deal

moongal Posted July 2, 2016 #9 Share Posted July 2, 2016 When you try to book a room such as this, does it (website) or booking agent tell you up front you are booking a room/balcony with an obstructed view? I would be extremely upset if I booked and got this room with such a horrid view. Just curious so when I go to plan my next cruise, I will know if I need to ask or do they let you know up front. Rare Essiesmom Posted July 2, 2016 #10 Share Posted July 2, 2016 Always have the deck plans in front of you when booking! Most agents aren't looking at the deck plans, just at the list of available cabins. Many haven't ever been on a cruise... Savvy travelers are prepared. Luv2cruisegal Posted July 2, 2016 #11 Share Posted July 2, 2016 Good Morning, We are sailing on the VISTA out of NYC on 11.5 - booked obstructed view on 7th deck - inside price but window - forward of the ship with the observation deck right outside....not a bad deal....but with a balcony?.....I definitely would not want obstructed.
