Mahogany Bay Beach

Per above ... No beaches within walking distance from Coxen Hole.

On the positive ... taking an excursion with the ship or a private operator does allow you the see the "real" Roatan. :)

For those who have gone snorkeling at Mahogany Bay - are there lockers to store your stuff? Any safe places you can leave your stuff while you are in the water?

We have a 2 year old so one of us always stayed with our youngest while snorkeling. When not snorkeling, we were in the water close to shore. I don't recall seeing lockers, but I didn't look.

If you would like to have a clam shell for your beach chairs order on the ship. We didn't and all had already been reserved. There are free beach chairs under the shade of trees so clam shells are not necessary.
