Yes, Churchill's on deck 6 forward is the cigar lounge. You may bring your own or purchase.

nukesubsailor Posted July 21, 2016 #8 Share Posted July 21, 2016 Traveling on the Caribbean princess next week. First time on Princess. Is there a cigar lounge onboard? There has been a cigar lounge on each of the 9 different Princess ships I have been on. Often called Churchill lounge or Speakeasy lounge-----depending on which ship you are on. Most are located on deck 6. On the Coral Princess it is on deck 7. You can locate them by looking at the deck plans for your ship on the Princess website. Happily, yes there is. :) On Caribbean Princess it's called Churchill's and is located on Deck 6 forward ... just in front of the lower level of Princess Theater. Capt Blood Posted August 24, 2016 #11 Share Posted August 24, 2016 Does Princess still allow cigarette smokers in the cigar lounge but not cigars smokers in the casino?? On my last cruise in 2012 I was extremely disappointed that no longer could we enjoy our cigars on our balconies.... So be it... Safety issue, fire hazard... Whatever!!! But when I went to the designated Cigar lounge, it was over run with cigarette smokers and cigarette smoke! And nothing ruins the pleasure of a nice cigar than to compete with cigarettes...IMHO! There where even some nice cigars that I might have purchased from princess humidor but instead I didn't get to enjoy a fine cigar for the entire 21 transatlantic cruise... I spoke with some house officer on board and had a really good discussion about this and of course he agreed I had a valid point and would pass along to the higher ups.... Quit sure nothing has changed but would be delighted if it would! Cigar lounge is for cigars......and fine libatiions!!
OCruisers Posted August 24, 2016 #12 Share Posted August 24, 2016 Problem is ... cigarette smokers don't have any other place to relax (the casino isn't relaxing) and smoke INSIDE except the Cigar Lounge. :( LuLu
Capt Blood Posted August 24, 2016 #13 Share Posted August 24, 2016 It's like I told princess.... They're missing out on a revenue stream cuz I guarantee they would make more money selling nice cigars and cordials to the cigar smoking market than would ever come from cigarette smokers! Cigar lounge or call it cigarette smoking station!!!

Quit sure nothing has changed but would be delighted if it would! Don't expect any action! We have complained about this on every cruise since the balcony smoking ban started. Totally agree, I love to smoke cigars outdoors, I used to go up on the bow late at night away from others as not to offend them. Now I am relegated to the cigar lounge and it is filled with cigarette smokers and the chairs are not comfy enough for a long smoke. Big difference between cigar smoke and cigarette smoke. IMO:cool: Which one doesn't cause cancer? :) I'm sure I'm missing something vital here, but it seems weird to me that producers of second-hand smoke are complaining about the second-hand smoke produced by someone else because one kind of smoke is "better" somehow than another. Yep, totally missing the point.
