Would love some suggestions for Prohibition Event on Allure? Dress style, hair style , soes, accessories, etc?

J Kara has had some retro flapper style dresses the last few years. Try Nordstroms, Lord & Taylor, etc online.

Short black tank dress (above the knees short). Embellish with long strands of imitation pearls. Hair slicked back in a low chignon. Beaded headband, maybe a feather boa.

If you can find it, a long cigarette holder (merely for show, of course)

 

If you dare, find a nice satin slip or nightgown that is short, and use it as the dress :eek: And, go to the Anne Taintor website and pick up a sassy flask to hide your adult beverage ;)

Yep, I agree with the flask idea...use a pretty, frilly garter to hold it in place if you dare...LOL!

 

There are a lot of slip dresses out there now. A glittery headband with a feather smack in the middle would be cool along with a feather boa. You didn't mention when your trip is...if it's at or near Halloween...a trip to a Halloween shop or even Target's seasonal section would have lots of things to create a 20s flapper look.

 

Check the internet for roaring 20s looks. You'll find lots of ideas!
