Just an FYI about the video. This video is entirely unscripted. I emailed the photo department last year about having a videographer onboard the ship, as previously there wasn't and I was told they were "revamping" the video's, as I was interested in purchasing the video of our cruise. I mentioned that I was a part of a "group" of Cruise Critics that did this trip yearly.

I received a reply asking about what activities we had planned. I replied and that was the end on my part.

Upon boarding, I had a message from the manager of the photo department looking to meet with me. At sailaway, I saw someone videoing and introduced myself. She verified activities and times, and there she was, "filming away"whenever the group gathered. She also wanted to meet with me, and the others you see in the video and we sat down individually while she asked questions. We had no idea that the hotel manager was also involved until we were shown the video in a private screening in the Princess Live theater on the last sea day.

I was blown away by the attention and the professionalism of the Photo department at Princess.

This is one video that I am most appreciative of.

Cruise Critic Members Share Video of Their Experience on Regal Princess

If you ever get to cruise with Michael, the Hotel General Manager, it is a privilege. He alone made the whole Meet & Greet a great one. When I organized the M&G for our January cruise, he rounded up a whole group of staff members to talk to us. When their staff meeting ran a little long, he sent word that they would be there shortly. He is the true consummate host. The whole video concept and final product were great.

I enjoyed the video,so great to see cc made an impression on The Regal staff and they came to the meet and greet. I know they can't always attend the meet & greets ,but it's definitely nice if they can stop for a few minutes answer some questions and introduce themselves.

But I also think that it's fine for cruise critic roll call members to have a meet and greet and cruise staff not attend as well., but if they're sent a formal invite and they don't attend it is disappointing for the Coordinator/roll call members that invite the officers.

What a wonderful video of the CC group on the Regal!

I thought that it encompassed quickly what its like to cruise with a group of people and how much fun it can really be.

Thanks Princess for assisting in the filming and spreading the word about Cruise Critic! :D
