Valor 7 day cruises 2017

Is it me or does it seem that next June/July Valor is doing 8 day caribbean cruises and 3 or 4 day cruises to the bahamas? Seems like a waste of such a large ship to just do short cruises, especially after she got her refurb? We were looking for 7 day cruises out of Port Canaveral for that time, and things are limited for 7 days. Even the magic is doing more 6 and 8 days.

The Valor is taking over the 3/4 day Bahamas runs for 2017 starting November... Magic will do the 7 day or 6/8 day runs... The refurb is to compete in the saturated short cruise market with a bigger better ship than what is being offered by competing cruise lines.... The up side is you can now take a short cruise on an upgraded bigger ship instead of one of the older, Fantasy class ships.

I was willing to pay a premium for a nicer ship. My only requirements for our upcoming cruise were, the dates and Not a fantasy class ship.
