4Lakes Lady Posted July 27, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 27, 2016 If anyone has stayed in one of these cabins, can you tell me how they differ from the standard? On the footprint they looks slightly larger but I'm wondering if the only difference is added handrails and grips. Rare chrismch Posted July 28, 2016 #2 Share Posted July 28, 2016 On other ships, the bathroom was larger to allow a wheelchair to move around freely which means a wider door to it and a roll-in shower. Also more space between the bed and the desk.
bigmjh Posted July 28, 2016 #3 Share Posted July 28, 2016 Space under bathroom sink for wheelchair to roll under ... wider door for wheelchair access ... turning room for wheelchair to maneuver in stateroom ... some tables, chairs, etc may be removed (again for wheelchair access) ... lower rack in hanging closet (reachable from seated position) ... small, but important, things that provide easier access for those confined to a wheelchair.
