portcbob Posted July 31, 2016 #1 Share Posted July 31, 2016 Just wondering if there is anyone out there that has cruised in this cabin or very close by on the Golden Princess. Have booked this cabin however wife worried about noise and possible movement. Thankyou Bob.
MargoK Posted August 1, 2016 #2 Share Posted August 1, 2016 We were in an inside Accessible nearby at Christmas. No noise from the Vista Lounge even on New Years Eve. Only issue was the thruster noise and movement when docking and leaving. Mind you I slept through the first event, and when I experienced the second I couldn't believe I slept through it all! BUT all said and done it was only for a short period of time. Certainly not a deal breaker. The deal breaker was we found the inside cabin gloomy although it was huge 310sft! Booked a Caribe Balcony for next cruise. Better grab it, they go fast. ;) We have stayed in several in this area on several ships. Edited August 1, 2016 by Colo Cruiser
jasbo49 Posted August 1, 2016 #4 Share Posted August 1, 2016 We had E725 in October 2014. Great cabin, E719 looks even better, because it has a balcony on only one side and an open forward view. I think you'll find movement a non issue. There is no noise on the Starboard side other than some groaning and vibration as you are maneuvering on the way into and out of a port. You might hear a conversation below on the Promenade deck, but there was nothing that bothered us. Jim

Cruiserkenn Posted August 1, 2016 #6 Share Posted August 1, 2016 Yes, keep it for sure! I too have stayed in starboard Emerald deck minis, on several Grand Class ships. They are fantastic, and noise is not an issue. Enjoy!
