gagirl7143 Posted August 12, 2016 #27 Share Posted August 12, 2016 Just do not understand if you have ins why they will not pay for your full amount that you will lose by canceling. Thought Travel Guard was a good ins but guess not. Our travel ex paid full fare for one we canceled day of due to my mom having emergency surgery. Langley Cruisers Posted August 12, 2016 #28 Share Posted August 12, 2016 (edited) Gosh, is anyone else confused? I am. :( OP said in his first post: .... I have insurance through travel guard OP, how is your wife doing? Edited August 12, 2016 by Langley Cruisers
Ken at the beach Posted August 12, 2016 #29 Share Posted August 12, 2016 It sounds like the OP only had medical insurance for the cruise and did not have any cancellation insurance. With his cruise being Sept 4 he was most likely in the 75% cancellation penalty phase. OP. Glad everything worked out for you.
