A guide is not required in Las Palmas. The ship's dock in the city and it is very easy to get around on your own.

I think you mean the conservatory on La Palma? It's not the same island. Las Palmas is the capital of Gran Canaria.

We stop in 2 ports in the Canary Islands - Las Palmas and Santa Cruz de Tenerife. I believe there is a space observatory on the Las Palmas port.

They want to go in Gran Canaria, not La Palma. Apparently there is one near San Mateo. I presume they can get a bus from Las Palmas, a taxi or hire a car.
