Just wondering what is above and below Main Deck room J1088

Has anyone been in that stateroom or anywhere near there, if so, is it ok??

According to the deck plan it looks like J1088 is directly below the Queen!s Lounge

If it is there below the Queen's Lounge and B B King Blues is still performing 3 sets a night - it is bound to have some impact on that room. If you are out every evening, it shouldn't be a factor; go to bed early - you may want to rethink the location.

 

I won't be on the Koningsdam until Feb 2017, but that is the venue for BB King on every other DAM ship featuring that musical offering.

Not sure what's below that cabin but Happily@Sea is right about the Queen's Lounge being above. Many people have complained of the noise throughout the evening from above.

 

If you are an early to bed type and/or a light sleeper, you might want to look elsewhere for a cabin. We were in FA1147 on deck 1 and heard virtually no noise beyond occasional chair scraping from above in the CAC.

We have gone back to our agent and asked if its possible to make a change, yes with some difficulty. The ship is pretty much booked out. Good Sign!

we now are in cabin I4114 think it will be a little better than J1088
