Kcjarvis Posted August 31, 2016 Author #27 Share Posted August 31, 2016 Can't wait to read more of your review. How much was the EZ cruise parking? Still trying to decide if I want a rental car and drop off ($100) or just pay the parking and keep the car. What did you think of Southwest? I am flying to HOU on the them twice in the next few months from the DC area. I picked them for the non-stop flight. I use them to FL quite often because my sister lives in West Palm and they fly direct to there also. Love the pictures of your room. EZ was $54 with the "2016" discount code. Having status on a major airline spoils you. Let's just say SW isn't for me :-)

As someone who really appreciated the bright, airy and high-up CL aboard Serenade and Radiance this only serves to irritate me that we're still 494 days out from our own RS / Liberty extravaganza. You're cruel like us on the pier runners. HehHeh. Have an awesome time, and thanks again for sharing the pix. :D Edited August 31, 2016 by MichaelCMTX

Kcjarvis Posted September 1, 2016 Author #44 Share Posted September 1, 2016 Woke up approaching the Grand Cayman anchorage Tendering operations started 15 min early Carlos escorted us past the lines and onto an awaiting tender In port with us - more tugboats Grabbed a shared $4 pp 8 min taxi to The Royal Palm. $2 entrance fee They also have a pool
Kcjarvis Posted September 1, 2016 Author #45 Share Posted September 1, 2016 With 3 ships in port, it was a little crowded, but the tugboat crowd had a 3:30pm all aboard, so the beach thinned out by mid afternoon. Stormy15 Posted September 1, 2016 #46 Share Posted September 1, 2016 We were on the same cruise in a grand suite. Loved it! Such a fabulous cruise! How crowded did you find Royal Palm? Also, we could not figure out where to meet Carlos in the art gallery for the tender. Luckily, they told us to go with a group going to the tender when they saw our gold cards. So it worked out well even though we felt a bit lost. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
MichaelCMTX Posted September 1, 2016 #47 Share Posted September 1, 2016 We did a cabana at the Royal Palm last time, it likely would have been better had the day not been overcast and drizzly but you can't pick the weather the day you go. The facility was the sort of thing DW was looking for: more organized that just rolling the dice on a public spot on Seven-Mile beach It was the fallback because the Westin's "Resort for a day" deal had been sold out. Hoping we get that for the Feb. trip but Royal Palm's on the list if not.

Kcjarvis Posted September 1, 2016 Author #49 Share Posted September 1, 2016 Woke up backing into Falmouth, not pronounced Foul Mouth haha. Like Jon Snow, we walked beyond the wall, to our favorite restaurant in Jamaica - NAZZ for some local food. We felt very safe, and had no aggressive vendors or taxi drivers. Best curry chicken in the world We then walked back to the port and hopped in a $20 pp round trip taxi van to Doctor's Cave Beach
Kcjarvis Posted September 1, 2016 Author #50 Share Posted September 1, 2016 Jerk platter The only thing dangerous in modern Jamaica is the $6 rum punches Another great beach day, now back to the port for patties. We saw the Capt standing on the pier, and asked him to take us to Labadee. He responded, "I'd love too."
