Question for recent Maasdam Passengers

We are 4 Star so get the free laundry but DW likes to do a few items in the selfservice laundry to keep them from shrinking and getting damaged. I remember that some of the ships were removing the selfservice laundry. Is it still available on the on Maasdam?

The Maasdam had self service laundry when were onboard in May/June.

Just off the Maasdam 8/29 and there are self-service laundry facilities onboard.

 

We bought the unlimited laundry and used it every day with no problems but we did not send out our dress clothes.

Thanks for the quick response. We normally don't have issues with the laundry however on our last cruise on the Oosterdam the laundry lost a pair of shorts and ruined a shirt. The front office was very good about reimbursement for the items.

Do you need quarters or do you buy tokens on the Maasdam? I know on the Prinsendam it is free but doubt that is the case on all the ships.

8 quarters for the washer and 4 for the dryer

You can get change at the front desk.

Take your own softner sheets for the dryer.

As of 4 days ago it was still quarters, and self serve laundry still available.
