Daan386 Posted September 4, 2016 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2016 cruising to Alaska 11 Aug. 2017. Anyone that just returned what was the weather like. Did you get a lot of rain?
LovetheSea Posted September 4, 2016 #2 Share Posted September 4, 2016 We have cruised to Alaska many times. One thing we have learned . It can pour down rain all week and then be sunny and warm the week after. Weather can change on a dime in Alaska. Dress in Layers. Rain ponchos/coats just in case. Hope the weather gods are good to you! Have a great trip.
Rosy1013 Posted September 5, 2016 #3 Share Posted September 5, 2016 We were fortunate enough to have the rain hold off for most of the time each day. We were able to see most of the scenery before the rain came. But then, boy did it come! Def bring lots of rain-proof things! No sun for us, ever. luvbnmomto2 Posted September 8, 2016 #5 Share Posted September 8, 2016 We went Aug 19-26th. Weather was amazing! 95' when left Seattle. The whole trip was warm. 70'-80'. We brought light weight jackets and the only time we wore them was the day we were at the glacier and on a couple evenings we were out on deck. Bring rain ponchos, it will guarantee sunny skies! It did for us. lol
